Jaffa Road released Sunplace in March 2009 to a packed house at the Lula Lounge in Toronto, Canada.  The concert was sponsored by The Ashkenaz Foundation and Small World Music Society and was recorded for CBC Radio 2 Canada Live.

Sunplace has been receiving rave reviews and L.Y.G. won the GRAND PRIZE and THE LENNON AWARD in the John Lennon  Song Writing Contest (World Music)!

The CD features Aviva Chernick (vocals), Aaron Lightstone (oud, guitars, saz, synthesizers), Chris Gartner (basses, soundscapes), Sundar Viswanathan (sax), Jeff Wilson (Middle Eastern & Latin percussion), with special guests Dr. George Sawa (quanoon), Ravi Naimpally (tabla), Chris McKhool (violin), Aaron Bensoussan (vocals), and Ernie Tollar (ney, bansuri).
